Hagan Barrett & Langley announced that Starling Underwood has joined the firm as an Associate Attorney, effective September 1.

“Mr. Underwood has an impressive track record as lead attorney in a wide range of commercial litigation disputes, real estate litigation, commercial contract disputes and appellate litigation,” said partner Charles “Chip” T. Hagan III. “We are pleased that he has chosen to relocate his practice and his family to Greensboro to join us and expand the scope of our litigation services to meet the growing demand and changing needs of our clients.”

Prior to joining Hagan Barrett & Langley, Underwood practiced as an Associate Attorney with McGuire, Wood & Bissette, P.A. in Asheville, NC. He received his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law with a concentration on Employment and Labor Law/Business Law. He was the recipient of the NC Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division 2011 Outstanding Service Award for the 28th Judicial District.
