Charles T. “Chip” Hagan III, a founding partner with Hagan Barrett & Langley, has been named among Triad Business Journal’s “Most Influential People of 2016” for the tenth year in a row. As in the past 13 years, fifty community leaders including business owners, veteran policy makers and philanthropists were recognized for their contributions of time, talent and resources, and their decisions influencing the strength of our local economy.

Hagan was selected because he “has been a source of start-up entrepreneurship energy as a founding member of the Piedmont Angel Network and is on the boards of Bank of North Carolina, the Greensboro Partnership and the Greensboro Convention and Visitors Bureau,” according to Triad Business Journal President and Publisher, Ollie Chandhok.
Hagan was also the Founding Director of Leadership North Carolina and helped found the Greensboro Community Development Fund, a CDFI fund helping underserved communities. He has been professionally recognized with listings in Best Lawyers in America (2014-16), “Top Lawyers”, Charlotte Magazine (2015), “Top Rated Lawyers in Banking & Finance” American Lawyer (2013), Leaders in the Law (2013), and North Carolina Super Lawyer (2012- 2016).
